Family Fun at Global Wildlife Center--be SURE to read and follow the instructions for this outing so that you can attend! Pre-payment is required by January 8th for all participants.

**There is no need to print tickets. simply select the number needed so that we can effectively plan for our family fun! We use this site for reservations only.

***Admission fees must be mailed to Gina Warren and received by January 8th! Money orders should be purchased for cost of your entire group and sent to the address below in order to receive the discounted rate and guarantee our seats. Once received, I will email you with a confirmation that I have received your payment.

LAVCA families and school staff will enjoy a January Outing at Global Wildlife Center! Be sure to check the weather and dress accordingly! It could be 70 degrees; you never know but we will go rain or shine. In the event that Global Wildlife cancels, $ will be refunded. Otherwise, no refunds are possible. Be sure to wear your school shirts too, if you have one (if not, no worries) and show some #LAVCApride!

Who?

Students, siblings, and family members are welcomed to attend! Parents are expected to remain with students at all times but students can tour alone with our school staff to defray costs.

How much will it cost?

• $7 per child over 2 or a LAVCA student and $15 per participating adult (under 2 years free); additional cup of food required for each participant for $2 and can be purchased the day of the event.
• parents that are not touring with their student will not have to pay and can wait at the office area.

What to bring:

Bring yourself and a picnic lunch if you'd like to stay and picnic. Participants will also need a cup of food that can be purchased the day of the outing for $2 in a souvenir cup. There are additional concessions available. You will also need signed releases for our school. They will be kmailed out prior to the event and both pages should be completed and brought to the event to save time when you arrive. Even if you've completed these before, please bring them again. It's the simplest way for us to keep it organized!

All LAVCA outings are optional for our families. By participating in LAVCA outings, students and families are agreeing to abide by LAVCA's guidelines in the Student-Parent Handbook:

Louisiana Virtual Charter Academy will sponsor optional outings for students and families on a regular basis that enhance the K12 curriculum/learning activities. While attendance is not mandatory, it is an opportunity to meet other school participants, have conversations, share practices that work and provide academic enrichment. While credit for student outings is not offered in lieu of the regular curriculum, time can be counted as supplemental activities hours within the Online School.
Parents are responsible for the cost of transportation and any entrance fees associated with optional outings.
LAVCA parents and students are expected to conduct themselves appropriately at all optional student outings. Parents/guardians are responsible for the supervision of their children at all times.
